Spectra of my Unknowns

I determined by unknowns to be 3-pentanol and Iodine.

GC/Mass Spectra

The GC/MS Library found a 90% match of the spectra here to 3-pentanol.

My inorganic runs were not successful on this machine.

UV/Vis Spectra

This is my organic sample.

This is the visible peak of my inorganic unknown, which matched with Iodine.(Vapor sample)

This is probably a contamination peak of my inorganic sample.(Vapor sample)

Here is my inorganic sample run in methanol solvent. This spectrum also matches with Iodine's.

NMR Spectra

My inorganic run in deuterochloroform with a TMS reference--no protons, just a TMS peak

FTIR Spectra

Organic--matches with ...you guessed it, 3-pentanol

Inorganic--I ran a stock sample of Iodine and the two matched!!!
