Broad Overall Perspectives
During the course of the past
semester of Chemistry 120H, I have learned many fascinating things.
Everything that I have learned has been applied to the next thing that
I learned. All the information is just piling on top of the next
forming a tightly fit jigsaw puzzle of chemistry. I am just hoping
that all of this will apply to my life in general, so far I have not been
disappointed.
From the first day that we had class,
I learned something new. I still remember the hydrogen balloons being
ignited and the loud pop that flew through the classroom. I knew
from that moment on that the class would be an interesting learning environment
and that I would cherish every bit of information. Everyday after
that the work load kept piling on and I just kept on smiling. I loved
how it all applied to each other and how I could now explain how things
in the real world worked. Personal revelations and discoveries of
the world around me are now everyday occurrences now, thanks to the class
I was fortunate enough to take.
The classmates that I was able to
get to know so well have grown into my heart and I hope that they feel
the same way. I was able to learn about each and every person in
that class and now I am able to say hello to them each time I see them
throughout the day. I even known each of their names, that is a giant
feat for me. My lab partners were wonderful to work with and I have
a bond with them now. We as a class got to learn together and from
that we will never be separated.
Chemistry is proving to me to be more
valuable in my life than anything else I have held close to me yet.
I have gained unbreakable friendships and long-lasting knowledge.
I can now explain the world around me and I have the capability to understand
the yet unknown. I look upon my education in chemistry so far and
smile. I smile for what has happened to me so far and for what is
yet to come.
