MARCY'S
PAGE
Welcome to my page!!!! This started out as a rather large
Physical Chemistry assignment,
but it kinda became fun. So, before I start here is where to click
to learn about kinetics and time
.
Recently I wrote my Giaque paper, which I should get an A in
.Currently,
I'm a senior at
Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. I have decided that I am really
old, especially when I teach dance to my sixth grade girls
(They're
my little buddies). They really make me feel old.
Currently, I am majoring in Biology and German with minors in Chemistry
and Math.
Weird combination I
know, however I did get to study in
Munich Germany for a
summer. While I was there I had the best time. I met amazing people and traveled alot. Next year, I
hope to attend medical school and specialize in some sort of area where I get to work with kids.
Orginally, I am from Huron, SD,
where
I had the best time growing up. I still am really close to my
friends. My family
still
resides in Huron. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, running, biking,
listening to music
and watching
cheezy love stories. If you want to learn more about me I have included
a copy of my resume
.
Just in case you like poetry, I thought
I would add my favorite poem.

After A While
After a while you learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul,
And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning and company doesn't mean security,
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts and presents aren't promises,
And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up and your eyes open,
with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child,
And you learn to build all your roads on today because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans.
After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much.
So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure......
That you really are strong,
And you really do have worth.
